Terms of Service & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: July 16, 2026
This page covers what to expect when you book Ride Revival, and what we expect from you. It's written in plain English on purpose — read the whole thing, it's short.
Water & power
Ride Revival does not carry its own water supply. Before your appointment you must provide access to a working outdoor water spigot and a standard 120V grounded electrical outlet within approximately 100 feet of where the vehicle will be parked. If water or power is unavailable when we arrive, we may need to reschedule, and the missed-appointment fee may apply.
Right to decline or stop a job
Ride Revival may decline service or stop work, before or during an appointment, including for:
- Biohazards — bodily fluids, mold, infestation, rodent activity, needles, excessive pet waste
- Unsafe, unlit, or inaccessible work areas; unsafe weather; aggressive animals or people
- Vehicles in a condition beyond what the booked package covers
- Any situation where continuing risks damage to the vehicle or injury
If work is declined on arrival for a condition not disclosed at booking, the missed-appointment fee applies. If Ride Revival declines for its own reasons before arrival, no fee is charged.
Pre-existing conditions
Detailing reveals — and can worsen — pre-existing damage. Ride Revival is not responsible for pre-existing conditions including but not limited to: failing or oxidized clear coat, existing scratches, chips, dents, or rust; cracked, brittle, faded, or sun-damaged trim, plastic, vinyl, or leather; loose or previously repaired parts, emblems, or moldings; aftermarket wraps, tints, paint protection film, or non-factory paint; worn or stained upholstery; water leaks, faulty seals, or electrical faults; and mechanical issues of any kind. Some damage is not visible until dirt is removed.
Results aren't guaranteed
Some stains, odors, burns, etchings, swirls, and scratches are permanent and will not fully come out. Estimated prices assume the vehicle matches the dirtiness level and condition described at booking — on-site condition may change the final price, and Richard will discuss any change before continuing.
Personal belongings
Remove all valuables, cash, electronics, documents, and personal items before the appointment. Ride Revival is not responsible for items left in the vehicle, including anything lost, damaged, or discarded during cleaning. Child seats will not be removed or reinstalled.
Vehicle access & parking
You provide a safe, legal, accessible parking space. Shade is strongly preferred — direct sun affects product performance and results. You're responsible for making sure Ride Revival is authorized to work at that location (HOA, apartment complex, and workplace rules are your responsibility, not ours).
Keys & vehicle operation
Ride Revival may need to start the vehicle or move it a short distance. By booking, you confirm the vehicle is legally registered, insured, and operable.
Weather
Ride Revival may reschedule for rain, high wind, extreme heat, or unsafe conditions at no charge to you.
Arrival window
Appointments have an arrival window, not an exact minute — traffic and prior jobs shift timing. Richard will text if he's running late. If you're not present and the vehicle isn't accessible within 15 minutes of arrival, the missed-appointment fee applies.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations or reschedules with less than 24 hours' notice are subject to a $15 fee. The same fee applies to lockouts, no-shows, unavailable water/power, and undisclosed conditions that prevent the job on arrival. Rescheduling with at least 24 hours' notice is always free.
Payment
Payment is due on completion. We currently accept cash, Zelle, and Venmo — ask about other options. (Accepted payment methods are still being finalized — this list will be updated.) Returned or failed payments incur a fee. The $15 new-client fee is already included in your estimate.
Photography & marketing
Ride Revival may photograph and video vehicles before, during, and after service, and may use those images for marketing and social media. Images will not include license plates, house numbers, or other identifying details, and we will not identify you by name. Tell us before your appointment if you'd prefer we not photograph your vehicle, and we'll honor that.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Texas law, Ride Revival's total liability for any claim related to a service is capped at the amount paid for that service. Ride Revival is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost wages, loss of use, or rental costs. Where Texas law doesn't allow a limitation like this, it doesn't apply.
Damage claims
Any claim that Ride Revival caused damage must be reported within 48 hoursof service completion, with photos, before the vehicle is further cleaned or altered. This protects you and us — it's hard to sort out what happened after the fact.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Texas law, with venue in Cameron County.
Changes to these terms
These terms may change. The version in effect on the date you book is the one that applies to your appointment.
